Our Syrah grapes were hand-picked from a single vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, fermented and manually plunged then basket pressed and aged in oak barrels for 12 months. The bottled wine has been cellared for 5 years now. This Syrah 1654 clone displays burgundy colour as result of its age. The flavours developed through aged are ripe cherries with hints of cinnamon combined with moka and truffles. It is medium bodied with silky tannins makes this wine perfect to enjoy with many dishes, dry aged t-bone my favorite.
