This wine was produced with grapes from a single vineyard located in Langhorne Creek, a region that delivers superb Australian Malbec. It displays an intense purple colour with violet floral aromas, and flavours of ripe plums and chocolate combine with subtle spices and hints of black pepper. It finishes dry with very silky tannins and a lengthy fruit aftertaste. This Argentinean gaucho, a strong spirited nomad, shares my Argentinean heritage, and my home town of Mendoza’s passion for Malbec. Raise your glasses to toast another great vintage.
