The wine spends 15 months on it’s lees, which is, as per the name, quite extended!
Lots of typical passionfruit, cut grass, cucumber and tonic water characters but with chalky texture, some gentle almond savouriness and licks of ginger and woody spice lending additional character.
Amongst all this, crisp freshness and limey tang. Perhaps a touch diffuse in character overall, but a quietly complex wine nonetheless.
