From a cooler vintage than average, this style of wine is very elegant and sophisticated. Colour is bright and intense red, with a noticeable purple rim. Aromas and flavours are filled with ripe cherries and plums, lilac and rose hips. The palate is more about the savouriness, all spices and cherries. A medium bodied with a nice and dry finish with a fruit and savoury aftertaste.
