The grapes are grown nearby the lake Alessandrina in Langhorne Creek, which provides a perfect meso climate to provide cool breezes during the day.

The wine displays an intense red colour. The aromas are predominately dark cherries with hints of spices and chocolate. The palate exhibits ripe fruit and dark chocolate with hints of black pepper. The tannins are intense and pleasant, which adds complexity to the wine matrix. It finishes long with a fruit aftertaste.
