2022 'The Gaucho' Malbec

This wine was produced with grapes from a single vineyard located in Langhorne Creek, a region that delivers superb Australian Malbec. It displays an intense purple colour hue with violet and lilac floral aromas, and flavours of ripe cherries and plums and chocolate combine with subtle chocolate, spices and hints of black pepper. It finishes dry with very silky tannins and a lengthy fruit aftertaste. Super elegant style, given the cooler than average 2022 vintage and slower ripening, retaining more natural acidity and fresh fruit flavours.
