Spends time in new and matured French oak barrels. A dark, brooding and dry red wine of sinewy tannin and woody spices layered onto concentrated black cherry, cola and autumnal earth and leafy notes. 

Lots of structure and dry, firm tannin in play, good length of flavour and a neat and tidy, lightweight feel. Perhaps the dryness a little over and above, but that should appeal to many.
